1.generally speaking總體上講
【例】Generally speaking there was no resistance to the idea
一般說(shuō)來(lái)，沒(méi)有人會(huì)反對(duì)這個(gè)觀點(diǎn)。
2.to begin with首先
【例】To begin with,they came to class and told my friend they were not very happy;
剛開(kāi)始，他們?nèi)ド险n時(shí)告訴我朋友，說(shuō)他們不太高興；
3.in the first place首先
【例】In the firstplace,she can read at the rate of 100 words a minute首先，她能每分鐘閱讀100字。

總之，鄉(xiāng)村生活更優(yōu)于城市生活。
2.therefore,thus因此
【例】He's only 17 and therefore not eligible to vote.他只有17歲，因此沒(méi)有投票選舉的資格。
【例】Thus，taking morning exercises regularly may reduce the chances of getting sick.
因此，定期進(jìn)行晨練可以減少生病的概率。
四、邏輯連接詞語(yǔ)
